Usage of Flexfill TPU 98A in Fillamentum
Our company is a producer of top-quality filaments for industrial applications. No wonder that we have applied our own 3D printed components into production. The constant need for production process improvement is a great opportunity for testing our own filaments on extrusion lines.
3D printing enables us to make precise dimensions of needed components that have previously been cut from sheets in the past and therefore a substantial amount of waste was generated. Now, thanks to 3D printing the production of sealing is waste-free and saves the time of workers who do not need to cut the sealing from the flat sheets.
Straight after first modelling the printed sealing is used and tried on the extrusion line in production. If the requirements are met, the model is saved and ready for further use.
In the picture below you can see the usage of a brand new color of Flexifill TPU 98A which is available also as a 15 m sample.
Flexfill TPU 98A is a semi-flexible and highly reversible material used for different kinds of stressed parts and sealing. Its chemical resistance determines this material for use in various environments where it resists oils and greases
