The nozzle sizes correspond to the most required dimensions of 0.4 and 0.6 mm. How do Protoprint nozzles differ from the competition?
First of all, the usage of an industrial copper alloy provides higher thermal conductivity (330 W / mK) compared to commonly used brass or steel. This leads to faster printing, use of less energy for heating, and therefore lower consumption. Double coating with nickel base layer and ultra-hard outer layer (>5000 HV) guarantees high resistance when printing the most demanding abrasive materials. The nozzles have an exceptionally low coefficient of friction and their operating temperature can withstand up to 500°C. Protoprint nozzles are designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic.
