Fillamentum Industrial introduces one of the strongest materials on the market. Aramid fiber-reinforced Nylon, known as Nylon AF80 Aramid. This filament is an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications that also need to remain flexible at the same time.
Aramid is also known as Kevlar. Kevlar is a synthetic aramid polyamide. Its molecular structure makes it able to withstand extreme heat. Nylon reinforced with aramid fibers is a filament with excellent mechanical and printing properties. High-temperature, wear, and tensile resistance are the main features, while the excellent hardness is also one of the most notable features of this unique industrial filament.
Furthermore, Nylon AF80 Aramid also provides tribological properties. All of these make it suitable for the fabrication of products like an unwinding wheel, bearings, or cogwheels. This durable material resists a wide range of chemicals, including car fluids.
Thanks to the excellent layer adhesion, the smooth surface of the printed product can seem like produced by an injection molding machine. Nylon AF80 Aramid is an effective way to cut down on your industrial manufacturing costs with high-quality, innovative material. The recommended printing temperature is in the range of 235 - 260 °C, and the heated bed temperature is in the range of 80 - 105 °C. The ease of printing is maintained thanks to a very low shrinkage and great bed adhesion. The best results were achieved with a glass bed and PVA glue. Also, Magigoo and Magigoo PA work fine.

The PLA Extrafill Random Transition Spool is a product that's exclusive for our online store www.fillamentum.com. It's a limited product with which every spool is never the same. This unique PLA filament allows you to create colorful objects using a single filament and a single extruder.
The color gradient is originally a by-product of the production. Change in color occurs as the PLA granulate is changes from one color to another.
Fillamentum guarantees the diameter tolerance of +/- 0,05 mm of this filament, maintaining high quality and precision.
Gradient printing produces beautiful and unique objects because each PLA Extrafill Random Transition Spool is different from the others. To make the change really smooth, we recommend printing larger objects, ideally on vase-mode.
By ordering this product, you will receive one Random Color Transition Spool. Every spool is unique, thus, we cannot guarantee how large the gradient will be or what color transition you will receive.
Industrial filament PC/ABS is here! January 24 2020
PC/ABS is the third filament in a row that has been released by Fillamentum Industrial so far this year. Polycarbonate/acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene or in short PC/ABS is suitable for all commercial FFF/FDM printers that use 1,75 mm filament diameter.
Like most of its predecessors, PC/ABS is suitable for prototyping. The excellent properties of this material make it great for application in the automotive industry. It's durable with excellent mechanical properties and impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. PC/ABS is also resistant to high temperatures and can be used as a part of electrically stressed parts of consumer or office electronics. It's perfect for printing parts of printers, copiers, game consoles, or keyboards.
Another use-case for this material are airbags or the interior parts of car bodies as it resists mechanical and thermal strain. It's a filament that is light but strong at the same time and shows minimal signs of wear even after numerous uses. The hardness of PC/ABS is comparable to Vinyl 303, Nylon CF15 Carbon, or CPE CF112 Carbon.
A notable aspect of PC/ABS shows is it's excellent printing properties. We strongly recommend keeping the printing temperature at 260–280 °C, bed temperature in a rage of 90–105 °C, and the printing speed at 30–55 mm/s. We do not recommend fast cooling, as this could lead to warping and shrinking. This also means that less cooling helps to make printed parts stronger as the layers have enough time to bond well.

After the PLA Extrafill Sampler and single Swatches, we are releasing Timberfill Sampler and single Swatches. It is going to be your new handy tool for color combinations and comparisons. The Timberfill Sampler includes a steel-string with practical closure, which makes adding more colors and changing possible.
Genuinely 3D printed swatches with labels specifying the color and material. This way, you can see the real color after printing making it possible well-suited for color combination and color comparison.

NEW CPE CF112 Carbon is here! January 08 2020
Carbon fiber reinforced CPE HG100, known as a CPE CF112 Carbon, was firstly presented at TCT Show in Birmingham in September 2019, followed by Formnext in November 2019. On both of these events, this material left a great impression with our customers, makers, and representatives of companies from various types of industries.
This highly technical material also preserves the ease of printing like with regular CPE HG100 with improved technical properties. Thanks to excellent interlayer adhesion the surface enables easy painting and priming.
Our CPE HG100 is a copolyester known for its excellent mechanical properties. With the carbon fibers reinforcement, this highly technical material improves even more in hardness, wear resistance, and pressure resistance. Noteworthy is the hardness that reaches 77 Shore D, which makes it comparable with Vinyl 303.
CPE CF112 Carbon is a very hydroponic and moisture sensitive material. Please keep the spools in a protective sachet with silica gel. However, we recommend re-drying the material before use for the best results. The recommended printing temperature is between 255-275 °C and the hotbed between 70-85 °C. Due to the carbon fibers, this composite material is highly abrasive. The printing requires the use of abrasivity resistant nozzles.

High Impact Polystyrene or HIPS is a perfect material for prototyping or functional objects. This is why we are now offering four new colors to give a chance to make a functional object also aesthetically pleasing or practical color marking.
- HIPS Extrafill "Metallic Grey"
- HIPS Extrafill "Sky Blue"
- HIPS Extrafill "Signal Red"
Thanks to the clean surface finish, HIPS is perfect for printing support parts. These printed parts are dissolvable in Lemonesol, which is a special liquid that doesn't affect the quality of PLA or ABS object.
It offers excellent mechanical properties, such as strength, impact resistance, toughness, and heat resistance. This filament is resistant to moisture and water, thus it is ideal for application in long-term contact with hot water.
Moreover, HIPS has great dielectric strength and resistivity properties, meaning it can be used in the production of electrical and electronic equipment. It's also certified for food contact, which makes it perfect for the food and packaging industry.
During the printing process of HIPS filament, small quantities of styrene are released into the atmosphere.

Fillamentum Industrial introduces Flexfill TPE December 06 2019
Fillamentum Industrial expands its product portfolio with new Flexfill TPE, a thermoplastic elastomer based on polypropylene.
In comparison to Flexfill TPU, which is thermoplastic polyurethane Flexfill TPE has an entirely different set of properties. We are offering two levels of hardness for the TPE – Shore 90A and Shore 96A.
The matte surface of TPE is pleasant to touch in compared to more technical material, the TPU, which has a glossy finish. Furthermore, the other indispensable qualities of this material also include a chemical resistance such is resistance to water, acids, alcohols, and alkalis. TPE is certificated for food and skin contact.
With excellent printability, Flexfill TPE is a high-quality 3D printing filament that keeps its dimensional stability with strong interlayer adhesion resulting in a sleek matte finish.
We strongly recommend printing temperature in a range of 225-245 °C, the temperature of hotbed 50-60 °C, and the printing speed in 15-25 mm/s, depending on the printer.

First printable polypropylene by Fillamentum October 03 2019
Within few weeks Fillamentum Industrial will release new material under the name PP 2320. This polypropylene, which, thanks to its unique properties, will easily become an integral part of your production. It took nearly a year of development and technological testing to bring this material to perfection.
3D printing is no longer a privilege of hobby users and designers. Fillamentum Industrial aims at the field of industrial applications. Our Industrial materials will increase production efficiency, saving your time and costs. The clear evidence is this new polypropylene, which Fillamentum presented at TCT Show in Birmingham.
PP 2320 has excellent electrical insulation properties and will find its application as an alternative to PVC in the insulation of electrical cables. Like Vinyl 303, which was launched this March, it is not absorbent, so it's ideal as part of a pipeline, in making of tanks and sinks. The high temperature and chemical resistance make PP 2320 a structural component for chemical tools that also require high strength. PP 2320 by Fillamentum Industrial achieves high tensile strength over competing polypropylene filaments with greater elongation.
Polypropylene of Fillamentum Industrial has countless applications, but another unforgettable advantage is the ease of printing. PP 2320 is printed in the temperature range 225-245° C. For maximum strength we recommend printing at the upper limit of the printing temperatures (240–245 °C). Large objects should be printed in a heated chamber.

Something important was missing in our CPE HG100 portfolio. And it is not anymore! Please, welcome 23rd color in CPE portfolio on the stage - “Ghost White” (HEX #F8F8FF).
CPE HG 100 is slowly but surely reaching the position of one of the most favorite technical material.
Why choose CPE HG100:
- It’s a modified PETG with better properties
- Excellent impact resistance
- Tensile strength is higher compared to usual PETG
- Good heat and chemical resistance

When talking about the printing properties, we guarantee high quality of printed object with excellent functional properties. The recommended printing temperature is between 255–270 °C and the bed temperature 70-85 °C.
Please notice that CPE HG100 is highly moisture-sensitive that is why we strongly recommend keeping the material in a protective sachet with silica gel. Otherwise the material loses its printing properties. In case this happens, you can easily dry your filament and use it again.
And you know what is also great? We think green! This 3D printing filament is recyclable, bio-based, BPA and styrene free. Last but not least, CPE is food contact certified.

This is the 42nd colour in our palette of PLA Extrafill as we love to widen the creative possibilities for our customers. You can be certain that we do not plan to make it the last. Be sure to stay tuned for more!
This interesting colour is achieved by combining different shades to ensure a deep and sophisticated texture. Closely resembling coffee with milk, sand or wood pulp, makes it possible to be used in a whole variety of projects with adding dept.
The name Mukha was given after the city Mocha in Yemen, natively spelt al-Mukhā. This city is known for being the major marketplace for coffee. The Caffè Mocha or also derived from this cities name inspiring us to come up with the PLA Mukha.
Our PLA filament is easy to print smoothly, even in tricky detailed areas. Making it suitable for a wide range of people such as hobbyists, architects, designers and many more.
The last week of May traditionally belongs to the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlin, city near our production. This year has been 59th annual of this event and Fillamentum was involved!
The tradition of recent years is the festival program, which focuses not only on film screenings, but also on workshops designed for creative hands of schoolchildren and the young. Workshops are located in various areas. The most popular area among children is the Castle Zone, which was located in the Zlín Park.
We supported these workshops by donating 3D printing filaments.
Our filaments are suitable for 3D printers and also 3D pens. With the help of local TBU students, all kids had the opportunity to try out their own spatial drawing. “We appreciate we could be a part of this event; we like to support kids to have a clue about this absolutely incredible technology, “says Josef Doleček, founder and CEO of Fillamentum.
The perfect sample was the display of 3D printer, which continuously printed with the Fillamentum strings. It was obvious that not only children were amazed by this technology. “It is amazing to watch maybe future makers discovering the magic of 3D printing at one of the most popular film festivals for children.” adds Mr. Doleček.

Because of great adhesion to other materials we do recommend using adhesive which will serve as a separation layer on bed. CPE HG100 is highly moisture sensitive, therefore keep the spool in protective sachet. If the stringing occurs, re-dry the filament.
Fillamentum, a Czech company, that belongs to the top global producers of filaments for 3D printing, introduced unique and long-awaited filament Vinyl 303. Polyvinylchloride that was developed in cooperation with well-known German brand NAKAN, was released 4th of March 2019.
Fillamentum as one of the first in the world offers printable polyvinylchloride. This material also belongs to the line of Fillamentum Industrial family, which is focused on the development and manufacturing of 3D filaments suitable especially for industrial applications. Vinyl 303 is a self-extinguishing material and is characterized by its excellent mechanical properties. Why did you choose this model? We remember you from the watches series..
I like the motor-sport world, I’ve already done the McLaren F1 steering wheel.
This time, I wanted to make a design easier to print and assemble but iconic at the same time.
The Lamborghini Miura was the first mass-manufactured supercar and the design of the rim is spectacular – for me.
We’ve met on Twitter because you’d tagged us in your posts. How did you find our brand and why did you choose it for your projects?
I’ve discovered you thanks to the distributor you have in my city – Innovaland 3D (3Dfilamento.es). They recommended me your filaments for their quality.
I bought a Rapunzel Silver spool PLA and since then, I’ve been limited to buying only your products because they give me quality, easy printing (temperatures, removal of supports), and above all – assembling precision.
Since you’ve mentioned temperatures, what setup did you use for printing this model?
For the body rim printed in Fillamentum Gold Happens PLA, I used the 0,4 nozzle with a 0,2 height layer, the speed of 30mm/seg, 50º supports overhang angle and nozzle at the temperature of 210°C.
For the central wheel wing nut, I printed with Fillamentum Rapunzel Silver PLA and used the same settings as for the body rim.
And for the brand shield, I printed with Fillamentum Traffic Black and Gold Happens PLA I used the 0,25 nozzle with a 0,15 layer, the speed of 20mm/seg and at the temperature of 195°C.

What are your future plans?
I have many plans, right now, I have two tough bosses – my sons – they’re demanding a scary mask for Halloween.
On the other hand, I'm trying to simplify the watch design to reduce the number of mounting parts and maybe I can make a short production for some interested friends. I hope to get it using the filament change technique during printing.
I also want to make some relief map of the terrain using digital terrain models and I need to learn to design with Blender to make more artistic designs and less industrial.
Besides all this, I have to finish the design of a watch, I want to design another Formula 1 steering wheel more and continue with the design of luminous marquee letters and with the architectural recreations… I need more time. (I wish a day had 36 hours?)
Maker Faire New York 2018 with Fillamentum ❤️ October 18 2018

On the first evening of our arrival to NY, we were took part in the Matterhackers Meetup at Fat Cat Fab Lab. It was just the perfect place for seeing everybody first-time. After it, we were ready for the next two days at MF.
Who we met
Everybody! Like for real, this was the massive meetup of all talented people who we mostly knew just from Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram.
What we liked
The whole event was absolutely fun. There were so many different projects from blacksmiths to robotics. We loved it!
Saturday after party with Matterhackers
We were proud we could join the after party and invite people for the first round of drinks. It was as a rad night on a hotel rooftop; we met old and new faces there and had the time to chat.
The interesting fact was that in the 3D printing village, there were a lot of companies directly from the Czech Republic or run by people from Czechia. So was great to meet a lot of familiar faces and have a great time with them!
We don't have all of them in photos, but there were: Prusa team, Plasty Mladec, Jelly Box, 3D Simo, and Filament One.

Fan art LEGO Parrot in human scale by agepbiz August 28 2018
Hello agepbiz! We’ve just watched your newest project – the fan art LEGO Parrot in human scale. It’s amazing! How did you get to this idea?
I grew up in the eighties playing a lot with Lego bricks. Lego has always been my favourite toy, and I kept that fascination into adulthood. I guess this is why Lego has influenced many of my personal projects. Lately, I have wanted to learn basic soldering, doing a project that combines both my passion for 3D modelling and electronics became my goal.
To technical things: You did all the work on it, so please tell us more about it.
I usually do all the 3D modelling in Autodesk 3ds Max. I have several printers, but since the parrot is so tall and I did not want to print the body in parts, I printed it on my Tevo Tornado due to the Tornados’ large print-size capability, although I have published a split version of the parrot for those with smaller 3D printers. My biggest challenge with this project was fitting the electronics the most elegant way. It was a lot of trial and error, but I ended up with a solution where I attached the speaker and the battery-holder inside the back cover.
Any tips for people who will download this project from Thingiverse, MyMinifactory, Cults3D, or Pinshape?
If people don’t want to tinker with electronics, I have also made and uploaded a solid version of the parrot so that they can print just the Parrot. I suggest printing the parts in the orientation I uploaded them.
Why did you choose Fillamentum?
The first spool I bought of Fillamentum gave me such a nice finish on the print that it was an easy choice to select Fillamentum for my next projects.
Do you have plans for the next project?
I have designed a series of print-in-place Surprise Eggs toys that I want to expand upon. I also have another big lego project in my backlog. I have become fond of combining 3D printing and electronics so I might do more of that in the future.

Spores - 3D generated models by Fernando Jerez August 08 2018
Hi all, I’m Fernando Jerez, a computer science teacher, amateur designer and 3D-printing hobbyist. This set of pieces is the 4th design of “Plastic Reef” series where I tried to recreate weird undersea creatures using procedural and generative algorithms implemented in Openscad.
The style and look of the “Spores” are inspired by Ernst Haeckel drawings. I’m fascinated with this kind of drawings and the organic structures that seem like they have been made by some sort of algorithm.
As with much of my procedural stuff, I used Openscad as a tool to implement this one. I needed some sort of algorithm that could generate a big variety of different patterns but keeping a similar structure.
After a few failed approaches, I went into ‘loops’ so I improvised a mix of formulas to get a sinusoidal path that twists itself to make an organic shape then populate the path with balls and spikes. Tweaking path and distribution of balls/spikes, there’s a lot of weird organic creature to be discovered. My intention was to make a dozen, but finally, I couldn’t resist and render up to 30 STLs.
The nicest part of this project has been promoted by Laila from Fillamentum. She has made a huge effort to involve makers from the 3D-printing community to test, print, and send the pieces to Fillamentum.
Lot of people got involved, and for me as a hobbyist designer, my best revenue is seeing other people enjoying and printing my stuff. When I see those figures printed at such high quality, it feels great.

Hey! We’ve been following you on Instagram, and we’re excited that you’ve decided to use our product to make a new collection of watches! What other products, except for watches, do you sell?
Greetings to Fillamentum! We’re glad you’ve noticed our products with which we use the materials from your company Fillamentum. The decision to use your products came after a recommendation from the seller of Ultimaker printers (3Dwiser.com). They told us they’re hassle-free and have practically the same level of quality as the genuine materials for the printer. We got to making fashion accessories rather by chance when we made the first brooch with a motif of deer. It sold like hot cakes, so we’ve decided to extend the range of animal brooches to other animals. Over time, we’ve added earrings, necklaces, and recently, the watches. Apart from that, we of course focus on making models and promotional items.
How did you come up with the idea to make watches?
We wanted to extend our range with something appealing to new customers. Watches seemed like a perfect fit because we couldn’t find any other producer on the market. The boom of watches made of wood also inspired us, and we wanted to come up with something new. Initial designs were rather classical with the option to use 3D printing with elastic materials such as TPU. This way wasn’t ideal. Over time we switched to more pure design and an elegant combo with polypropylene band.
Are you working on some new designs?
In the next few months, we’d like to get down to development and production of home lighting products where we’d also like to use 3D printing. Either as support for production or for printing individual parts. One of our most exciting projects, where we used strings from Fillamentum, was the design lamp FLOLA.
Have you met with any challenges selling products using 3D printing?
Practically every job is a challenge because we’re trying to make the products look the best.
Do you have any funny stories from designing for 3D printing?
We don’t have many funny experiences with 3D printing as such, but we often take the printer with us and show it to people in our sales stand. Some visitors respond in a funny way when they see the printer in action.
What do you mean by saying that visitors responded funnily to seeing 3D printing? What comments do they make?
People aren’t familiar with how an FDM 3D printer works: some even asked us to give them some chilled beverages or to tap them an ice-cream. When we explained to them that what they actually see in front of them is a printer and not a fridge, they immediately changed their minds and wanted to print money.
What do you appreciate most about Fillamentum?
We like the wide range of colours suitable when combining two and more colours. Also, as we’ve said at the beginning, printing with the Fillamentum materials works perfectly with our Ultimaker printer. There are many producers with cheaper products, but we prefer going for better quality and trouble-free printing.
What’s your favourite combination of colours?
Our fave combination is probably PLA Vertigo Gray with White or PLA Silver with Magenta. They are stylish, and all materials with silver glitter perfectly mask FDM printing imperfections.
What advice would you give to a person starting a business using 3D printing technology?
It’s important to first consider for what they’ll use the printer. 3D printing with the FDM method isn’t omnipotent – it’s got some limits. Printing complex mechanical parts and with materials like Nylon, PC, or TPU is quite demanding, and you need to design them in the way that makes their production possible. Printing from the PLA material isn't complicated, but it also isn’t entirely suitable for printing heat-resistant stuff or parts.

Yesterday the Žižkov television tower became the place where the 14-day period of subscription period peaked. Investors had the opportunity to place their demand for the purchase of shares in our company, FILLAMENTUM a.s., specialising in the production of special polymer products used in automobile, engineering, and food industries, as well as in the area of hobby and design.
Historically first Start Day lasted only six hours – it was enough for final presentations for all three companies applying for investors’ interest, finalising noting, price setting, and releasing final results. Our company, FILLAMENTUM a.s., has succeeded in closing the book of orders as the first! In short time, we reached the maximum of subscriptions of all planned 28 800 shares! The price of one stock was set to 825 CZK and the issues, managed by Roklen Corporate Finance, even ignited such interest among investors that the demand for our shares exceeded the offered amount by 1,021 times.
“When we saw the Fillamentum company last Autumn, we were sure that it would work out,” says the boss of the Prague’s market Petr Koblic.

We are always curious to see how people use our materials all around the world. Join us in the Mariday workshop - costume maker for furries. We spotted his new 3D printed head with LEDs, and we're impressed.
Hello there! Here is the most epic project we have seen lately! Have you made it all yourself from its ideation, modelling, printing, to installing the LEDs?
I've seen plenty of people making costumes and placing LEDs as an afterthought. I wanted to show the makers that you can use LEDs to make your costumes glow naturally and look almost bioluminescent.
So I decided to trial this idea with a fluffy arm. It contained around 300 LEDs driven by the Raspberry Pi microprocessor.
I got such a positive response at Confuzzled, the largest UK furry convention, that I decided to make a second arm and head.
I've been 3D modelling and printing for five years now, so printing the head was a perfect solution. Especially now when you can get clear PLA which print exceptionally well.
The clear PLA allowed me to fit the LEDs inside the head. It means that placing the fur on the outside diffuses the light and makes the fur perfectly smooth.
The head currently holds about 400 individually addressable LEDs, and the final costume should hold about 1,000 with a maximum current draw of approximately 30 amps.

The head is probably a new thing with furry costume makers. What response have you received from the community?
The 3D printed head bases are quite rare in the furry community for one main reason: To create a base like this, you need an artistic eye and need to be able to model and design for 3D printing.
Lots of artists can sculpt digitally, but not many can convert this into something printable.
I am currently trying to open up 3D printing to furries by starting a free online model repository. The repository will contain printable 3D models of claws, beaks, heads, horns, and more from modellers around the world. It will also provide a platform for selling prints and connecting artists with people who can model for 3D printing.
Furries love anything new and innovative. With this project, I want to demonstrate just how well 3D printing can work in fandom.
Btw is it really wearable with all those wires inside? Have you tried it?
When it comes to the head I've built and the arms, it needs a little context. These costumes are often referred to as “Fursuits” or just “suits”. They can look adorable on the outside but are incredibly hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable on the inside. The best way I can describe what it’s like is to imagine wearing a sofa.
Lining one of these with LEDs is like wearing a sofa and heated blanket at the same time. So to mitigate this, my suit has high air flow cooling fans, smart power management, and even built-in water cooling.
So is it comfortable?
Can you survive in it without long-term injury?
Is it enjoyable?
OMG, you really consider how easy technic can change this whole. Amazing! How does the cooling system work? Does the whole body suit include some flexible pipes?
In some suits, there are freezer packs; these work well around the torso. However, this doesn't work very well when you need to chill a small specific area like your arms or head.
The cooling system is rather simple; it relies on a removable reservoir, diaphragm pump, and several meters of highly flexible silicone tubing.
After filling the reservoir with ice and water, easily provided by most bars for free, the pump circulates the water around the suit, cooling every inch evenly.
Will there also be fur on it just as on your arm?
The head and arms will get covering from 3 - inch acrylic fur. The main difference is that the head will be trimmed down to show off the higher LED resolution.
Btw. How did you make the LED lights? Is there some Raspberry Pi helping with it?
When it comes to LEDs, lots of people power them with Arduino or similar microcontroller. However, I use the Raspberry Pi as they have much more processing power and networking capability. It allows me to make a much more IOT (Internet Of Things) costume.
Because of the Pi’s networking capability, I can connect my costumes to the web which allows them to be controlled remotely from a web interface, automatically update software, download new effects, and control them with wireless controllers such as the Wii Remote.
The Pi’s processing power also allows for more complexity in the system, for instance, 3D physics simulations, image processing on the fly, and it can even track eye movement.
The structure of the code is designed to be very modular. For instance, when the system starts up, each module gets tested on its own to ensure that the software and hardware cooperate.
This is enabled by the Raspberry Pi’s ability to use multiprocessing. This is where lots of code runs simultaneously and independently.
It essentially means that if you’re performing and suddenly the gyroscope breaks, causing its associated module to hang, all the other modules will continue to operate regardless.
So you are a professional furries costume maker or its just a hobby?
By trade, I'm a Computer Scientist and software engineer. However, my passion lies in making, performing, and teaching.
I've been in the furry fandom for around seven years now. I joined because I was amazed at the craftsmanship going into their costumes. Since then, I have been a part of so much more than just the costumes that everyone sees.
I still firmly believe there's no such thing as a “grown-up”, so even if its a little silly, find a fandom, take your printer with you, and I guarantee you won't regret it.
If you can, please, could you tell us what this furry thing is in general?
The furry fandom is a group of people who are a fan of fictional “anthropomorphism” or animals showing human characteristics. Characters like those in the Disney film Zootopia, Wes Anderson’s The Isle Of Dogs; and even Mickey Mouse are perfect examples.
Most Furries have a unique personal character or “Fursona”. Some furs use this as a goal, someone more outgoing or bold. Others use it as escapism, allowing them to express a side to them they can't live in their everyday life.
In summary, it allows people to express themselves. It may be through songs, stories, games and costumes, also known as fursuits.
The amazing thing is that you can completely reinvent yourself and be whoever you want. I've gone to a furry convention and just over breakfast, made friends with a binman, lawyer, material scientist and musician. Everyone gets equal treatment, and that's why the people I've met over the last seven years mean so much to me.
