Two NEW colors of Flexfill TPU 98A April 16 2020
We are pleased to introduce you to Flexfill TPU 98A Carrot Orange and Blue Transparent! Two new colors of our popular semiflexible thermoplastic polyurethane.
A most notable characteristic of this material is its strength and resistance to wear and tear thanks to the excellent layer adhesion. This makes it suitable for various mechanical applications. The final object has a smooth surface. The flexibility can also be adjusted and fine-tuned by the thickness of the printed walls or the percentage of infill.
Other highly regarded properties are chemical resistance to oil and grease, UV resistance, and abrasion resistance. The recommended printing temperature ranges between 220 - 240 °C and the heated bed temperature is in the range of 50 - 60 °C. The important setting is the printing speed, which we recommend setting between 15 - 30 mm/s for the best results.
Flexfill TPU is available in two grades of hardness - Shore A 98 & 92. Shore A 92 is more flexible. Flexfill TPU 98A in comparison to Flexfill TPU 92A can withstand higher temperatures.
We also offer Flexfill TPE which is based on polyolefinic thermoplastic elastomer. The surface of printed objects is matte while the TPU has a glossy finish. TPE is certificated for food and skin contact while TPU is suited for industrial and technical use.

Nylon AF80 Aramid is soon here! February 20 2020
Fillamentum Industrial introduces one of the strongest materials on the market. Aramid fiber-reinforced Nylon, known as Nylon AF80 Aramid. This filament is an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications that also need to remain flexible at the same time.
Aramid is also known as Kevlar. Kevlar is a synthetic aramid polyamide. Its molecular structure makes it able to withstand extreme heat. Nylon reinforced with aramid fibers is a filament with excellent mechanical and printing properties. High-temperature, wear, and tensile resistance are the main features, while the excellent hardness is also one of the most notable features of this unique industrial filament.
Furthermore, Nylon AF80 Aramid also provides tribological properties. All of these make it suitable for the fabrication of products like an unwinding wheel, bearings, or cogwheels. This durable material resists a wide range of chemicals, including car fluids.
Thanks to the excellent layer adhesion, the smooth surface of the printed product can seem like produced by an injection molding machine. Nylon AF80 Aramid is an effective way to cut down on your industrial manufacturing costs with high-quality, innovative material. The recommended printing temperature is in the range of 235 - 260 °C, and the heated bed temperature is in the range of 80 - 105 °C. The ease of printing is maintained thanks to a very low shrinkage and great bed adhesion. The best results were achieved with a glass bed and PVA glue. Also, Magigoo and Magigoo PA work fine.

The PLA Extrafill Random Transition Spool is a product that's exclusive for our online store www.fillamentum.com. It's a limited product with which every spool is never the same. This unique PLA filament allows you to create colorful objects using a single filament and a single extruder.
The color gradient is originally a by-product of the production. Change in color occurs as the PLA granulate is changes from one color to another.
Fillamentum guarantees the diameter tolerance of +/- 0,05 mm of this filament, maintaining high quality and precision.
Gradient printing produces beautiful and unique objects because each PLA Extrafill Random Transition Spool is different from the others. To make the change really smooth, we recommend printing larger objects, ideally on vase-mode.
By ordering this product, you will receive one Random Color Transition Spool. Every spool is unique, thus, we cannot guarantee how large the gradient will be or what color transition you will receive.
Industrial filament PC/ABS is here! January 24 2020
PC/ABS is the third filament in a row that has been released by Fillamentum Industrial so far this year. Polycarbonate/acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene or in short PC/ABS is suitable for all commercial FFF/FDM printers that use 1,75 mm filament diameter.
Like most of its predecessors, PC/ABS is suitable for prototyping. The excellent properties of this material make it great for application in the automotive industry. It's durable with excellent mechanical properties and impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. PC/ABS is also resistant to high temperatures and can be used as a part of electrically stressed parts of consumer or office electronics. It's perfect for printing parts of printers, copiers, game consoles, or keyboards.
Another use-case for this material are airbags or the interior parts of car bodies as it resists mechanical and thermal strain. It's a filament that is light but strong at the same time and shows minimal signs of wear even after numerous uses. The hardness of PC/ABS is comparable to Vinyl 303, Nylon CF15 Carbon, or CPE CF112 Carbon.
A notable aspect of PC/ABS shows is it's excellent printing properties. We strongly recommend keeping the printing temperature at 260–280 °C, bed temperature in a rage of 90–105 °C, and the printing speed at 30–55 mm/s. We do not recommend fast cooling, as this could lead to warping and shrinking. This also means that less cooling helps to make printed parts stronger as the layers have enough time to bond well.

After the PLA Extrafill Sampler and single Swatches, we are releasing Timberfill Sampler and single Swatches. It is going to be your new handy tool for color combinations and comparisons. The Timberfill Sampler includes a steel-string with practical closure, which makes adding more colors and changing possible.
Genuinely 3D printed swatches with labels specifying the color and material. This way, you can see the real color after printing making it possible well-suited for color combination and color comparison.

NEW CPE CF112 Carbon is here! January 08 2020
Carbon fiber reinforced CPE HG100, known as a CPE CF112 Carbon, was firstly presented at TCT Show in Birmingham in September 2019, followed by Formnext in November 2019. On both of these events, this material left a great impression with our customers, makers, and representatives of companies from various types of industries.
This highly technical material also preserves the ease of printing like with regular CPE HG100 with improved technical properties. Thanks to excellent interlayer adhesion the surface enables easy painting and priming.
Our CPE HG100 is a copolyester known for its excellent mechanical properties. With the carbon fibers reinforcement, this highly technical material improves even more in hardness, wear resistance, and pressure resistance. Noteworthy is the hardness that reaches 77 Shore D, which makes it comparable with Vinyl 303.
CPE CF112 Carbon is a very hydroponic and moisture sensitive material. Please keep the spools in a protective sachet with silica gel. However, we recommend re-drying the material before use for the best results. The recommended printing temperature is between 255-275 °C and the hotbed between 70-85 °C. Due to the carbon fibers, this composite material is highly abrasive. The printing requires the use of abrasivity resistant nozzles.
