3D printed jewellery has been created under the Šupolka brand since 2016. The founder named Lucia Littera was already fascinated by 3D printing during her university studies and decided to buy a 3D printer. Subsequently, she built her own brand and her customers can indulge in unique accessories, which are produced using 3D printing and filaments from Fillamentum.
Initially, Lucia printed accessories only after herself and her friends, but gradually she began to sell her products on the Internet and in various design stores. He is mainly inspired by animals and nature for the production of his products. The portfolio of Šupolka mainly includes brooches with animal motifs, which are stylized more or less into geometric shapes. With the growing popularity of the brand, earrings and pendants are also increasing.
Lucia praises additive production. She said: “I am fascinated by working with a 3D printer and filaments. It has its limitations, but also the possibilities that other technologies do not offer.”
Products from the Šupolka brand are very characterized by their colorful colors. “Currently, I like to combine colors, especially white and black. That’s why I bought a printer with two heads. ” Declares the founder. She also adds that she uses a 2.85 mm thick filament the finds PLA, which very advantageous because it has degradability, rich colors and many shades.
